VT Homecoming

I APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW FOR THE FACT THAT I HAVE NOT POSTED IN A LONG LONG TIME. PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

So, it's been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that! Since our last post we have been to another VT football game, of course. It was a good game and Granny and Grandad were able to come too! We had a lot of fun and the kids are really starting to get into the cheering. They don't complain or act up at games at all. The most they do is ask for food at half time. It's amazing!

This game was Homecoming for Virginia Tech. There were tons of places to go and things to do. We started on Friday with the Pep Rally. The football players, cheerleaders, High-Techs and Low-Techs were all there.

Saturday morning began bright and early with the parade. I don't think we have ever been so close to the bands before. They were literally two feet from us. I think my ears are just now starting to recover. The kids loved being able to actually see the parade. It seems like every parade we go to is so crowded that they can't see everything. This time they could practically touch everything!

After the parade we met up with Jen, Tom and the kids and made our way to the Hokie Bird's Birthday Party! There was cake, face painting, pictures, cheerleaders and lots of other fun things.

Finally we were off to the game. There was a flyover before the game which Ethan LOVED! The game was great. Of course it always is when they win!

By the time the game started I was sick of taking pictures as you can tell. There are no pictures of the game. They won though and that is all you need to know. We like it when that happens!
